My mother introduced me to a story when I was 7 that changed my life. I didn’t realize it at the time, but this story has been hiding in my subconscious for a long time, affecting my creative thought. These photos
are visualizations of this story, one that was
manifested from solitude and silence.
Everything that we see, hear, touch, think, create is an amalgamation of one’s own mind and experiences. Some
choose
to keep to themselve while others choose
to tell stories of their experiences. They choose to unlock the door between their world and the rest of
existence, giving the audience a chance to decide whether they want to take a peek inside, to see whether the story fits into their personal reality or not.

“This substantial silence─positive, full─is itself almost art.” (Bruno Shulz)
